Sometimes freakish things happen, eh?




June 13 2005, marked the demise of our 1995 Honda Civic (the car "scraped" by the truck a la the caption) after only 0.9993 of a light second (186,150 miles).

You can see the "scraping" opposite, as well as HERE and HERE.

Also, although it wasn't clear at the onset, the driver  eventually was ticketed for "driving too fast for conditions" or some such.  Finally, our whole family was uniformly greatly impressed with the response we received from all of the many public services that we dealt with: Vancouver EMS, VFD, VPD, staff at VGH and ICBC reps. Kudos all; we really
appreciated it!
